Trade Program FAQs

Can I place an Galiatea Trade order online?

Yes! You are able to place your Trade orders online. With your Galiatea Trade account number, you can sign in here (coming soon!) to place your orders online using your Galiatea Trade program discount. You'll need to provide your Galiatea Trade credentials (your Galiatea Trade number and associated email address to sign in and begin shopping). Galiatea Trade program pricing will be reflected when you place items in your cart. If you are making a purchase for the purposes of resale, and have tax documentation on file, you may opt to waive the taxes on your online order. Please note that your order will be placed on a short hold while we validate the tax exemption documentation.


How do I place an order or receive a quote?

Which industries and professions qualify for the Galiatea Trade program?

Our Galiatea Trade program is offered to commercial, hospitality and residential interior designers, licensed general contractors, architects, and professional home stagers who work directly with homeowners on their home design or improvement projects. If your business does not qualify for the RH Trade program, you can enjoy other benefits by shopping here.


May I add another person to my Galiatea Trade Account?

Yes, you may add authorized contacts to your Galiatea Trade Account. Email their first and last names, position with the company, email address and phone number to trade@galiatea.com. Please allow two business days for your account to be updated. Your authorized users will have full access to place orders online, and our Trade Specialist.


Do I receive an Galiatea Trade card?

No. Once your Trade application has been processed and verified, you will receive a welcome email that includes your account number. Processing takes 48-72 hours.


How can I cancel my Galiatea Trade account or opt out of the program?

To cancel or opt out of your Galiatea Trade Account, please call our Galiatea Trade team at 409 234 6763, or email us at trade@galiatea.com.

How do I pay for my order?

For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover or wire transfers. 


Does Galiatea Trade charge sales tax?

Yes. Without a valid Resale or Sales Tax Certificate, Galiatea Trade will charge the sales tax associated with the delivery location.

We are required to collect sales tax in all states in which we have a retail presence. If you hold a valid resale or exemption certificate we are happy to waive the tax upon your request. Please note that all tax documentation is subject to review, validation and approval at the sole discretion of RH Trade and in accordance with state, local and federal guidelines. In addition to a valid resale number we also require a copy of the completed certificate. You may submit this to trade@galiatea.com and reference your trade account number.


How will I know that I received my Galiatea Trade discount?

The price reflected in your account and order confirmation includes your Galiatea Trade discount. 


What is the Galiatea Trade return policy?

Items that have been manufactured according to customer specifications, cannot be returned. Due to the nature of the handcrafted products and shipping costs, we cannot accept returns on any products.


How long will it take to receive my order?

How do I track my order?

When your items are shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation via email that will include tracking information. You may also call an Galiatea Trade representative at 409 234 6763 or email trade@galiatea.com to request an update.


Can Galiatea Trade process special shipping requests?

Does Galiatea carry anything in stock?

Galiatea does not carry any stock and all of our items are made-to-order and custom based on client’s specification.
